This year, I’ve been inspired by a more neutral color palette for the holidays – think fresh and faux greens, eucalyptus, and wood tones. Instead of bringing in traditional red and green, I’m leaning into nature for a simple and very affordable look for my front porch!
Styling my front porch this year for Christmas feels extra special because I just gave our porch a makeover a few months ago complete with a stunning subtle stenciled floor! It’s been quite a few years since we switched up the styling of our front porch for Christmas, so this is the perfect opportunity to bring in new ideas – including a full sized Christmas tree!
For the past few years I have displayed small lit trees on either side of the front door, but I was ready to change it up! This 5 foot tree has traditionally been displayed in our basement, but I just love it on the front porch in one of my large planters!
I layered it with other items in varying heights to create depth and interest. I kept styling simple by choosing elements in galvanized metal, wood, and black. The best part of my front porch look? I already owned all of these pieces, and have used them in the past! By rearranging items and adding different levels with crates, it looks like a brand new space filled with brand new décor!
My one new purchase this year, was this beautiful galvanized bow. I love the subtle festive farmhouse touch it brings to the porch!
I also made a new-to-me neutral grapevine wreath for the front door using a lot of foraged and second hand materials! You can see the easy tutorial here!
