Have you ever tried to spray paint a wreath? This easy, affordable upcycle project is a perfect way to transform old unwanted décor into something new and spooky for Halloween!
Our Halloween obsessed neighbors have a HUGE fall wreath for the outside of their house. They inherited it when they moved in across the street, and after years in the elements, the wreath needed a little refresh. Because I’m always up for a good makeover, I asked if they wanted me to turn it into a spooky statement piece for their favorite holiday!
This project is way too simple and beautiful not to share with you! All you need is an unwanted or thrifted wreath and a can or 2 of spray paint (depending upon the size of your wreath!)
I used 2 cans of Rustoleum flat black spray paint and covered the majority of the florals. I think leaving some of the color showing through creates an eerie look like the flowers are slowly decaying!
I can’t wait to see what it looks like when they hang it up with all of their other decorations! I’ll make sure to share photos!
