Thrifted Valentine’s Day Finds: Crystal Compote & More

Crystal Compote

During an all-day thrifting adventure in Maryland last year, I found this stunning Irish crystal compote for just $15! It’s heavy, beautiful, and the perfect statement piece for my table. I filled it with my favorite faux white roses, which look incredibly real and will never wilt. These roses add timeless elegance to the display, much like the love I share with my closest friends.

Serveware: Italian Elegance Meets Thrifted Charm

Gold Tray

Thrifting gems like this gold tray with bows from Florence, Italy, are what I live for! At only $2.99, it was an absolute steal. Though I usually display it on a shelf, I couldn’t resist using it to serve my strawberry cream cheese cupcakes and white chocolate red velvet cookies (both from a box mix!). It’s the perfect blend of practical and pretty for your Galentine’s or Valentine’s Day table.

Candlesticks: Vintage Glow for a Cozy Vibe

Pink Depression Glass Candle Holders

Candles make any celebration more magical, and these vintage pink Depression glass candle holders were a thrifting find I couldn’t resist for $6.99. To add more charm, I paired them with mini brass candlesticks (also thrifted) and created custom Valentine’s Day candles using thrifted candles and push pins! Silver Accents: Glamorous Touches for Your Table

Crystal & Silver Bowl

Why not go full glam with a mix of brass, glass, and silver? I found this crystal bowl with a silver-plated pedestal base for just $4.99 and filled it with heart-shaped strawberry pretzels from Target (if you can get your hands on them—they’re absolutely delicious!).

Silver Plated Frog Salt & Pepper Shakers

Did I need salt and pepper on my Galentine’s table? Probably not. But these adorable silver-plated frog salt and pepper shakers from Japan were too cute not to display! They even “lock lips,” adding an extra touch of fun to the table setting.

The Finishing Touches: Non-Thrifted Components

While most of the items on my table are thrifted, there are a few pieces I’ve added that aren’t. My dinnerware and furniture weren’t found at thrift stores, but they complement the overall vibe perfectly.
