The front of our home is typically the first thing guests see when they arrive, so it’s always the first place I start decorating for any new season! This year, I found inspiration in deep greens, blacks and blush tones for a natural looking Fall front porch with a hint of drama. Grab a cup of coffee or hot cider and come hang out on the front porch with me!

Painted Stenciled Concrete Floor
Let’s start our tour with the foundation of the space – the painted stenciled concrete floor! It’s been 3 years since I painted our boring concrete slab and with these easy steps, it looks just as beautiful now as it did back then!

Antique Frame Fall Wreath
The wreath I choose for my front door is always the focal point, seeing as how the door is centered on the space. I found some inspiration earlier this year on Pinterest from old picture frames turned into wreaths and I knew I had the PERFECT antique frame to achieve this look! For the full material list and tutorial, you can find it all HERE!
The warm aged gold blended with Fall’s natural browns and burgundies feel so rich and welcoming! By adding in some pine stems and aged brass bells, this Fall wreath could easily become the most stunning accent for my front porch all winter long too!

Moody Fall Floral Planters
I also saw high drama floral centerpieces on Pinterest and immediately knew I wanted to create my own version to flank the front door! I recruited the help of my insanely talented mama to help me design these and we made sure the final look was polished and elegant without needing any DIY experience!
I absolutely love the blush and ruddy red tones of these faux oak leaves mixed with the rich green tones against these affordable pedestal urn planters! The whole look is just Fall perfection and I promise you can recreate the look with THIS EASY TUTORIAL!
I love when my mom comes over to craft with me! These winter hoop wreaths we made together are one of my favorites!
Pumpkin Pedestals
Can you guess what I used for this incredibly easy Fall DIY project??? I thrifted 2 table lamps for $5 each and with just a few simple steps, they have become the most beautiful accent for our front porch! I will absolutely use these year after year! Click HERE to see how I made them!
Realistic Faux Fall Decor
I have learned over the years that I am just not capable of keeping mums and other florals alive on my front porch. I just always forget about them and end up wasting so much money! And don’t get me started on how much money I always spend on pumpkins and gourds for the perfect Fall look!
Last year I invested in realistic faux mums and pumpkins that are sure to fool anyone into thinking you are the best front porch plant parent in the world! Plus there’s no need to continue buying new flowers OR pumpkins year after year!
My faux pumpkins were purchased at Michael’s and for whatever reason they didn’t bring them back this year! I wish they did because they are SO GOOD! I pulled together a whole collection of faux stems and pumpkins for you so you can recreate the look at home! Click on the links below to shop!

Extra Fall Details
I always keep the same black lanterns on my porch with battery operated candles. They add some extra glow in the evenings that just feels so cozy! My white concrete planters were a curb-side find on trash day – can’t go wrong with FREE!
One last detail most people change out every season is their doormat and I love rounding up my favorite seasonal rugs to share! My black cat doormat is more of a Halloween vibe, but I love him so much that he comes out at the beginning of Fall! There were so many good options to share this year that I had a hard time narrowing it down! Which one is your favorite?
black cat / mushrooms / hey pumpkin / jack-o-lantern / gourds / welcome boo
leaves / acorn / plaid / haunted house
With the front porch done, I’ll be starting to work on some of my favorite indoor spots like my dining table and the fireplace mantle! Our black brick fireplace is a dream to style at this time of year with all of the cozy moody Fall vibes!
