After a several-month break from the blog, we’re excited to return and dive back into tutorials, second-hand upcycles, and unique, affordable DIY projects! With summer coming to a close way too quickly, I wanted to share what we’ve been up to and give you a peek at what’s to come!
Family Time Highlights
First and foremost, we’ve been spending a lot of time together as a family! Jackson and I enjoyed our days at the pool, at the library, and even thrifting together. (Are you surprised?!) Jackson must have been my lucky thrifting charm because I found so many amazing treasures while he was with me! As summer wraps up, I wanted to share my go-to essentials that I’ll use year after year. These are the items that made our summer memorable and will continue to be favorites for seasons to come!
Patio Makeover
Come see our patio all decked out for the lazy summer months! We transformed our outdoor space into a relaxing haven perfect for enjoying those warm summer evenings.
Iceland Adventure
We also spent 9 incredible days in Iceland as a family, experiencing everything from hiking a glacier to getting within 2 feet of puffins on mile-high cliffs, and even walking behind a waterfall! Upcoming Projects
Home Office Makeover
One of our big projects for the summer was updating the flooring and wall moulding in my home office. And we couldn’t just stop there! Check out all of the DIY projects, upcycles, and thrifted treasures that turned our spare bedroom into my dream workspace!
Childhood Bedroom Transformation
We’re also planning our next room makeover, and this time, we’re headed back to my parents’ house to give my childhood bedroom (now guest room) a full Old English Style transformation! Think rich wood flooring, deep moody colors, and family heirloom antique furniture.
